Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry focusing on systems and applications engineering or analog/mixed-signal design.
• Deep knowledge of power electronics with expertise in motor control algorithms, particularly Field Oriented Control (FOC).
• Familiarity with PI control loop design and sensorless control techniques for brushless motors.
• Strong understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262 / ASIL).
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define product architecture based on customer needs and market trends for new ICs.
• Model system-level behavior using MATLAB, Simulink, or PSpice to ensure performance meets application requirements.
• Act as a technical expert during customer meetings, addressing system-level challenges.
• Conduct competitive technical analysis to ensure superior product value and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to establish a long-term technology roadmap and identify key IP.
• Lead feasibility studies and technical reviews to facilitate the design transition.
