Job Description: The Principal Strategy - Business Data Analyst will join a highly visible team responsible for analyzing and guiding key business initiatives. This role combines advanced analytics with strategic insight, supporting leadership in making data-driven decisions that impact overall company performance. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working with complex datasets and presenting actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders. This position requires a strong balance of technical expertise and business understanding.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights
- Partner with business leaders to define metrics and evaluate success across strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain data processes using SQL and data integration tools
- Design data models that support scalable reporting and analytics
- Establish and uphold standards for data accuracy, consistency, and governance
- Create dashboards and visual reports to communicate findings clearly
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data insights with business priorities
Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy-related roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation processes (ETL)
- Experience working with platforms such as Databricks or similar data environments
- Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and automation techniques
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting executive-level decision-making
- Strong analytical mindset combined with business acumen
