Job Title: Principal Specialist, Drafting/ Product Definition
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Mississauga and performed exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Develop and modify detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings, stack ups, using CAD software Catia.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry and company standards, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ASME Y14.5.
Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to support the development of high-quality products.
Maintain and update procedure documentation.
Works autonomously with limited oversight. May provide input or guidance to lower level professionals with tasks and assignments.
Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
Comply with EH&S policy and applicable regulatory requirements
What do you need to be successful?
College diploma in Engineering Technology with minimum 8 years experience, or Engineering Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (experience with Catia highly preferred).
Strong knowledge of drafting principles, GD&T, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication (written and spoken) and teamwork skills.
Microsoft 365 apps is an assets.

The salary range for this role is 78,000 CAD - 122,850 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
