As a Principal Program Manager, you will play a key role connecting Lonza, our customers, and patients. You will lead complex, late-phase and commercial programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as a trusted customer partner while driving operational excellence across a highly matrixed organization. What you will do - Lead complex customer programs from development through commercialization
- Act as the primary interface between customers and Lonza across the program lifecycle
- Drive cross-functional teams to deliver quality, timeline, and financial objectives
- Manage program financials, including forecasting, invoicing, and revenue recognition
- Ensure compliance with PPM CoE standards and maintain accurate Planview data
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate when required
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including KPI tracking and continuous improvement
What we are looking for - Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience managing complex programs in biotech, pharma, or CDMO environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Proven experience managing customer relationships and program financials
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage risk and complexity
- Experience in New Product Introduction, including transitioning products from clinical development through commercialization
