What You Will Do:
  • Lead complex contract negotiations for existing and new supplier partnerships, ensuring compliance with government and company policies (FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and CPSR requirements)
  • Develop and execute souring and procurement strategies from development phase through production / sustainment, focused on meeting program requirements, budget targets, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare FFP, CPFF purchase orders (POs) and PO documentation in accordance with company directives, prime contract flow downs, government regulations, and public law. Post-award management of POs to be handled in accordance with company directives and work instructions.
  • Develop and execute alternate sourcing strategies in alignment to company program demand, partnering cross-functionally on assessment of capabilities and capacity
  • Partner with suppliers and internal cross-functional and program teams to align strategic and technical roadmaps to supplier capabilities and capacity.
    Identification and development of risk mitigation & opportunity action plans in the supply base to ensure program continuity
  • Performs cost and price analysis, develops negotiation strategies, and leads negotiations.
  • Establish and execute terms & conditions for new energetics & propulsion commodity suppliers
  • Manage course of action to establish new suppliers as an RTX approved supplier
  • Lead the development and negotiation of collaborative agreements with suppliers, such as Master Terms Agreements (MTAs), Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), pricing agreements, partnership agreements, bailment, etc., with implementation to secure supply chain stability and cost optimization
  • Partner with international subcontracts team, as required, to execute purchase orders with international suppliers in commodity

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University degree and 5 years of experience in USG/DoD procurement, subcontracts, or Supply Chain Management or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years relevant experience.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts (e.g. FFP, CPFF, CPAF, IDIQ, OTA) and managing critical supplier constraints
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)
  • Experience in developing and executing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), request for proposals, Best Value Source Selection (BVSS), supplier agreements execution, and supplier negotiations with medium/high complexity
  • Experience and/or knowledge of resource planning software (SAP / PRISM)

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Knowledge of end-to-end product life-cycle management through a supply chain organization
  • Experience leading subcontract management processes for both build-to-print and build-to performance specifications development efforts
  • Experience driving favorable outcome / contract terms while maintaining strong supplier & cross functional relationships
  • Experience transitioning product to new suppliers

The salary range for this role is $ 90,000 - $106,000. The salary range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
