We are seeking a
Principal Manufacturing Associate to support our CMC-GMP team. This individual will provide direct leadership and oversight for the on-the-floor operations of cell therapy manufacturing in a cGMP environment.
Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Monday to Friday; On-site
Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

Basic Qualifications: - Biomanufacturing Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree, Biomanufacturing Technology Level 2 Certificate, or equivalent. or an Associate degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing or another related field.
- 7+ years of cell therapy manufacturing experience, or 4+ years of cell therapy manufacturing experience combined with lead or supervisory experience.
In this role you will: As a Principal Manufacturing Associate
, you will play a key role in supporting our CMC-GMP operations:
- Knowledge and adherence to cGMP requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and necessary training to staff in alignment with cGMP requirements and established procedures
- Provide instruction to facilitate workflow, shift activities, and shift exchange ensuring all activities are completed as assigned.
- Provide a safe and controlled work environment.
- Provide deviation workflow support, including, but not limited to initiating, investigating, and troubleshooting deviations and unexpected events.
- Serve as backup for manufacturing associates for daily manufacturing processes.
- Review executed batch records and documents.
- Coordinate with the Training Department to include training needs on the manufacturing schedule.
- Clear communication with outgoing and incoming shift Leads and Managers to disseminate all relevant information.
- Collaborate with the MSAT/PD teams to transfer new projects into GMP.
- Develop or update internal policies, procedures or steps, identifies and escalate risks, communicates changes and plan for execution.
- Leads routine team meetings and huddles.
- Ability to work productively and to participate in a highly creative and fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- cGMP clean room spaces and facilities (~80% of work hours).
- Grade A/B/C/D GMP environment with associated facility noise levels.
- While performing the duties of this job, you may routinely handle blood components and is occasionally exposed to temperatures between -1966C and 406C, liquid nitrogen, liquid nitrogen vapor, dry ice, and carbon dioxide.
- Lifting: raising or lowering an object (up to 25 lbs.) from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
- Undergo and pass a color blindness evaluation and assessment of vision abilities required for this position.
- Must be able to push or pull carts and gas tanks on rolling wheels (approximately 50 lbs.).
