Overview

Principal Implementation Consultant - Encounter Management position offered by Cotiviti Inc. (South Jordan, UT).

Responsibilities

The Principal Implementation Consultant position is a post-sales position that is primarily responsible for mentoring and training internal teams on Edifecs Encounter Management (EM) products and customer custom components. This position is involved in overseeing Implementation Consultant Associates on the implementation of Edifecs’ EM products at customer sites, including when they are installing products on client hardware; configuring and developing programs, tasks and guidelines; and when trading partner setup is completed to fully implement the Edifecs EM solution. The Principal Implementation Consultant is the primary Customer Services’ technical resource and interfaces with the customer’s managers. This role works with Edifecs’ EM solution and its supporting technologies and requires a high technical understanding of the transactions that flow through this position. This position is responsible for: Delivering technical training at customer sites as part of the customer's software release and deployment cycle; creating detailed user and operational documentation, and solution architecture design to support the deployment of products and services at customer sites; collaborating with the Edifecs Implementation Architect / Technical Project Manager to formulate the architecture, implementation strategy/schedule, effort estimation and operational plan; and creating product training to new customer specific requirements, development and deployment. Must be willing to travel as needed 6 approximately 75%. No international travel. Telecommuting from anywhere in the US available.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, plus 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the healthcare technology industry as an Implementation Consultant, Software Developer, or related occupation, including:

  • 6 years of experience developing and deploying Java or Middleware based applications using at least technologies such as WMBI, IBM Websphere, TIBCO Business works, Web Method, AquaLogic Oracle web logic, Oracle Glassfish, Oracle JCaps, or related technologies;
  • 6 years of experience working with SQL Server as database from an application perspective connection string, SQL scripts, JDBC, and general trouble shooting;
  • 6 years of experience using software life-cycle methodologies such as waterfall, agile-scrum in developing products and IT applications;
  • 6 years of experience using software engineering tools for configuration management, defect tracking, unit testing, build and deployment;
  • 6 years of experience working with application Integration and Enterprise Application Integration;
  • 6 years of experience working with XML, STX, EDI, EDIFACT, ISO, ACORD, HL7, and/or IHE;
  • 6 years of experience working with Java programming, Java Script, XML, HTML and Perl scripts;
  • 6 years of experience working with technical requirements document, process flow diagrams, and deployment and user operationsguides;
  • 6 years of experience developing technical Designs;
  • 6 years of experience working with release management;
  • 6 years of experience working in the healthcare (Payer/Provider) industry;
  • 6 years of experience working with EDI transactions (mapping and analysis), including HIPAA;
  • 6 years of experience working with Implementation methodologies of healthcare products or solutions; and
  • 6 years of experience developing custom code and client specific configuration using JAVA and SQL.

Experience may be gained concurrently.

Base compensation at least $137,614.00/year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
