Job SummaryReporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a senior strategic advisor to leaders across several global functional groups. This role is designed for a highly accountable, independent HRBP who thrives in ambiguity, builds trusted executive relationships, and turns business priorities into practical people strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, executive presence, a bias for action, and the confidence to lead work from problem identification through execution with limited direction.
Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. Partner directly with senior leaders as a strategic thought partner, providing candid, data-driven counsel on people, organizational, and leadership decisions while confidently challenging perspectives when needed to drive stronger business outcomes.
- Own the HRBP relationship for assigned global client groups with a high level of accountability, judgment, and follow-through. Anticipate needs, identify risks, surface opportunities, and proactively bring forward recommendations rather than waiting for direction.
- Translate business priorities into integrated people strategies across organizational design, workforce planning, succession, performance, leadership effectiveness, engagement, and talent development. Ensure people decisions support Accurate's growth, innovation, operational discipline, and market leadership.
- Lead complex, high-impact initiatives from concept through execution, including organizational redesigns, leadership transitions, succession planning for critical roles, talent assessments, retention strategies, and change management efforts. Navigate ambiguity and influence outcomes without reliance on heavy process or structure.
- Use data, insights, and business context to diagnose issues, frame options, and recommend practical solutions. Prepare clear reports and executive-ready presentations on critical topics such as attrition, engagement, compensation, organizational health, talent risk, and workforce trends.
- Provide sound counsel on performance management, employee relations, risk assessment, leadership development, compensation, talent growth, and organizational effectiveness while balancing business needs, employee experience, and compliance considerations.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Employee Experience, to deliver scalable, high-quality people solutions aligned with Accurate's programs while tailoring approaches to the unique needs of the business.
- Drive projects for identified areas of opportunity through completion, ensuring clear ownership, timely communication, measurable outcomes, and sustainable adoption.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Human resources certification is a plus.
- 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR Business Partner role supporting senior leaders and complex business groups.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent, senior-level HRBP with strong accountability, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to move work forward with limited direction.
- Experience in high-growth, global, or matrixed organizations where HR Business Partners are expected to be strategic, hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable operating without extensive infrastructure.
- Proven ability to advise and influence executives, challenge constructively, handle sensitive matters with maturity, and establish trust and credibility while maintaining confidentiality.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to business objectives, operational priorities, organizational design, talent risk, and leadership capability.
- Organized, analytical, and decisive problem solver with strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and data presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex people topics into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Workday experience is a plus.
- Collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally while also independently owning deliverables, decisions, and outcomes.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $170,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
