WSP is seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to strengthen our Ground Engineering & Materials practice across Northern BC and the Yukon, based in our Prince George, BC office. The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A degree in Civil or Geological Engineering, plus registration as a P.Eng. in Canada (or eligibility with EGBC).
  • 15+ years of progressive geotechnical consulting experience, including northern, transportation, infrastructure, municipal, or resource-sector projects.
  • Recognized expertise in advanced geotechnical analysis, subsurface evaluation, and construction considerations.
  • Ability to influence technical direction, guide teams, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency with geotechnical platforms such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or equivalent tools.
  • Initiative, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset aligned with WSP's culture of innovation.


Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 - $195,400
  • MB & ON: $134,600 - $184,600
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $133,200 - $176,900
