Qualifications

• Mastery knowledge of applicable design systems (HVAC, plumbing) and design engineering aspects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and contractors.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a team of engineers.
• Effective public speaking ability for presentations and meetings.
• Proficient in CADD and Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage conceptual design for specific engineering projects.
• Establish department objectives based on strategic company goals.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and practices.
• Provide engineering support to various departments as needed.
• Act as design expert during project team meetings.
• Prepare complex preliminary redline design layouts for estimating purposes.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with construction documents and resolve design issues.
