Job Summary

Under the supervision and evaluation of the Superintendent, serves as executive head of assigned school. Supervises and directs the instructional program. Responsible for carrying out policies and regulations of the District. Supervises and evaluates all staff assigned to the building and works cooperatively with other department heads in supervising and evaluating personnel with special or divided duties. Sets up programs and procedures to maintain rapport between parents, teachers, pupils, and the community. Assigns works stations, plans and implements orientation of new school site staff. Responsible for organization and administration of the school program and scheduling of the school day. Enforces attendance laws, reports truancies and delinquencies as required by law and District policy. This position is located at Taft Primary Elementary School in Taft, CA.
