DescriptionGray Analytics is seeking a Principle Data Scientist to support the Missile Defense Agency Transformational Task Force (TF) in Colorado Springs, and will be responsible for:
- Providing architectural support of Cloud computing environments.
- Providing architectural support for software based performance characterization.
- Ensuring DEEDS digital engineering products align with operational mission needs.
- Lead MBSE-to-operations integration. Support digital thread implementation across mission engineering activities.
- Providing engineering governance and risk assessments.
Requirements- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience; MBA is strongly desired.
- 15+ years of experience in data analysis, data mining, operations research, or related field, with a focus on Federal customers.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- Ability to architect complex cloud based systems.
- Knowledge of MDA performance characterization and ground test events.
- Exceptional leadership and strategic vision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms.
- Experience with a wide array of data types, transformation methods, and databases.
- Experience working closely with stakeholders to formulate requirements.
Desired Qualifications- Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.
- Familiarity with Data Science, Digital Engineering, MBSE, DevSecOps, cloud environments, and data analytics programs.
- Experience supporting engineering or technical development programs.
- Experience preparing program briefings, technical review materials, and executive-level reports.
- Experience in risk management, configuration management, and technical baseline management.
- Understanding of digital transformation, workflow automation, and digital labor.
