Full Job Description
nLogic is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area. This role will play a key part as a contributor in supporting missile defense efforts. The role is responsible for supporting cyber systems integration and testing activities, developing and implementing automation and operating system solutions, and providing technical documentation and technical support for mission-critical systems.

Required Qualifications
  • Must possess a current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 5 years of cyber systems experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM field and 3 years of cyber systems experience
  • Must currently possess DoD 8140/8570 certification (e.g. Security+ CE).
  • Experience working on large-scale missile defense programs.
  • Applicants must possess excellent written and communication skills.
  • Applicants must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.
  • Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, object-oriented architecture, software integration and testing
  • Must be able to work on-site in an office environment


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining operating system and automation solutions in a mission-critical environment
  • Experience supporting laboratory integration, system connectivity, and verification testing activities
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues within operational and test environments
  • Experience creating technical documentation, procedures, reports, and other engineering deliverables
