Position Overview: The Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial component of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor the battle, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC provides layered missile defense capabilities that enable a well-coordinated response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both regionally and worldwide, to enhance performance. C2BMC is vital for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems. The chosen candidate will join a team that reports to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and is responsible for daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC systems within a 24/7 operations and test environment. Essential Functions: bull; Will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks bull; Will document and report all events and issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests, and real-world events bull; Will also assist with all hardware and software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO bull; The role involves rotating through a 24/7 shift schedule. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
