Full Job Description
Responsibilities

The primary responsibility will be to maintain, enhance, and document assigned web applications developed in ColdFusion and assist in the development of new applications.  Additionally, server administrative tasks and support for operational ColdFusion-based dedicated hosts.

  • Build interactive web applications & client/server projects using ColdFusion (CFML), HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Oracle, SQL Server, J2EE
  • Design and develop Custom Components.
  • Administer ColdFusion Server including middleware web server integration (IIS, Apache, etc)
  • Monitor performance and tuning with ColdFusion Performance Monitor, and ColdFusion log analysis
  • Develop functional and technical requirements
  • Develop/write/manage technical documentation based on application and environment change
Qualifications
  • 7+ Years of Experience in building both n-tier static and interactive web applications & client/server projects using ColdFusion (CFML), HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, AJAX, JSON, Oracle, SQL Server, J2EE, REST/SOAP.
  • Experience in Web Application Standards, CF components and language, Frameworks, OO/MVC design patterns.
  • Excellent experience understanding and implementing all steps of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for Application development in ColdFusion.
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Tier Environments, Design Patterns, and strong system analysis experience.
  • Experience in Developing Web Parts, Web Part Pages, Workflows, Content Types and various custom Document Libraries and Lists.
  • Experience working with and understanding ColdFusion log analysis and data structures to troubleshoot issues and monitor activity.
  • Experience with webservices and external system dependencies/integration
  • Experience in designing and developing Custom Components.
  • Experience programming with JavaScript frameworks/patterns such as jQuery, AJAX and other JS based libraries
  • Experience with Databases Oracle 12c, Exadata, and MS SQL Server.
  • Extensive experience at database-driven Web sites using ColdFusion application server for Intranet/Extranet applications.
  • Experience with operational and usage of source control solutions such as Git/SVN
  • AWS Cloud and ColdFusion/similar migration/standup experience beneficial

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Masters degree preferred. 

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is preferred.

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week at REI Systems’ Sterling, VA office.
