Principal Advisor, AI Partnerships About your role:You will lead third-party partner intake, evaluation, onboarding, and governance for the Agent Marketplace, helping financial institutions and merchants access AI-powered agents across front-, middle-, and back-office experiences. You will work across product, partnerships, risk, legal, compliance, security, and engineering to build a scalable onboarding model that supports innovation while maintaining enterprise-grade controls, regulatory alignment, and platform integrity.
What you'll do:- Lead the end-to-end intake, evaluation, onboarding, and governance process for third-party vendors building AI-powered agents for the Agent Marketplace.
- Define and operationalize a risk-tiered partner onboarding model that balances speed, platform scalability, regulatory expectations, and enterprise control requirements.
- Partner with product, engineering, legal, compliance, risk, security, and business stakeholders to establish onboarding standards, review criteria, and approval workflows.
- Evaluate prospective partners based on strategic fit, technical readiness, operational maturity, risk profile, and alignment with platform requirements.
- Build governance frameworks for ongoing partner oversight, including monitoring requirements, escalation paths, issue management, and policy adherence.
- Develop intake processes, documentation standards, decision frameworks, and lifecycle controls that support repeatable partner onboarding at scale.
- Collaborate with platform and marketplace teams to align third-party agent enablement with product strategy, commercialization goals, and client needs.
- Present partner recommendations, onboarding status, and risk considerations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support timely decision-making.
- Identify process gaps, control improvements, and ecosystem opportunities that strengthen the Agent Marketplace operating model and partner experience.

Experience you'll need to have:- 8+ years of experience in partnerships, product management, vendor management, fintech strategy, risk operations, or a related function supporting technology platforms or regulated environments.
- 8+ years of experience evaluating and onboarding third-party vendors, technology partners, or platform participants using structured governance, due diligence, and operational review processes.
- 8+ years of experience working across legal, compliance, risk, security, product, and engineering teams in financial services, fintech, payments, banking technology, or a similarly regulated industry.
- 8+ years of experience building or improving operating models, controls, or cross-functional processes that support scalable platform growth and risk management.
- Experience assessing partner capabilities in artificial intelligence, automation, software platforms, application programming interfaces, or related technology ecosystems.
- Experience presenting complex partnership, governance, and risk recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, finance, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:- Experience with AI agent ecosystems, marketplace platforms, or developer platforms.
- Experience supporting third-party risk management, model governance, regulatory compliance, or enterprise control frameworks.
- Experience in banking, merchant acquiring, or financial institution technology environments.
- Experience defining operating models for platform productization, ecosystem expansion, or partner lifecycle governance.
How you'll work:- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
Travel: This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

Salary Range$183,000.00 - $276,000.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
