Primary Care Provider - MD, DO, or Nurse PractitionerVisiting Docs is seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Care Provider-MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner-to join our growing family practice. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Schedule RequirementsSpecific schedules will be discussed based on the candidate's availability and the needs of the practice. Candidates must be available to:
- Work until 7:00 p.m. on selected weekday shifts
- Work two Sundays per month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Position Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services in a family practice setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform routine physicals, preventive care, and health screenings
- Develop and document appropriate treatment plans
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Treat patients across a broad age range; providers who do not treat very young children may still be considered
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted New York State license as an MD, DO, or Nurse Practitioner
- Nurse Practitioners must have completed a minimum of 3,600 clinical practice hours and be eligible to practice independently
- Must already be actively enrolled and approved as a participating provider with both Medicare and New York State Medicaid
- Active and unrestricted DEA registration
- Primary care or family practice experience
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications- Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Bilingual in Spanish or Creole
- Experience providing gynecological or women's health services is a significant plus
