In this Role:
As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in an outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions across a diverse patient population
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness
  • Order, interpret and follow up on laboratory studies, diagnostic imaging, and other diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and evidence-based treatments consistent with current clinical guidelines
  • Provide comprehensive are for adult and geriatric patients (with the opportunity to include pediatric patients based on training and interest)
  • Coordinate transitions of care, including hospital follow-up and post-discharge management
  • Collaborate with an extensive network of Bayview specialist through a seamless internal referral system
  • ~ 20 patients/day
  • Partner with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
