About the Role:

The Consultant - Pricing, Dark Fiber & Fiber Infrastructure will lead pricing strategy, deal support, and commercial analysis for Uniti's wholesale fiber infrastructure offerings, with a primary focus on hyperscale customers and large strategic opportunities. This role is responsible for developing market-competitive, financially sound pricing for dark fiber, route-based infrastructure solutions, and related fiber network services.

This position partners closely with Sales, Finance, Network Planning, Product, Legal, and Executive leadership to structure complex opportunities, support customer negotiations, and drive disciplined commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical skills with an understanding of fiber infrastructure economics, hyperscale buying behaviors, and wholesale telecom contract structures.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop pricing strategies and financial models for dark fiber, fiber infrastructure, and related wholesale network solutions, with emphasis on hyperscale and large enterprise opportunities.
  • Lead commercial pricing support for complex bids, custom builds, overbuilds, route expansions, and strategic customer pursuits.
  • Analyze deal economics including revenue, margin, capital requirements, payback, NPV, IRR, and long-term value creation.
  • Structure and price IRU, lease, and other long-term commercial arrangements for metro and long-haul fiber opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and business leadership to create customer-specific pricing recommendations that align market competitiveness with Uniti's return thresholds.
  • Support negotiation strategy by evaluating pricing concessions, term options, volume commitments, renewal structures, and non-recurring versus recurring revenue tradeoffs.
  • Build and maintain pricing tools, scenario models, and approval packages for executive review.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to incorporate route design, build cost, capacity assumptions, and service delivery considerations into commercial models.
  • Assess competitive market dynamics, customer demand trends, and infrastructure economics across targeted geographies and strategic verticals.
  • Provide pricing guidance for opportunities tied to data centers, cloud service providers, AI-driven demand, 5G, quantum computing, and government-related network requirements.
  • Support development of pricing governance, approval workflows, and commercial best practices across Wholesale and Uniti Fiber.
  • Prepare clear, executive-level summaries of deal economics, risks, assumptions, and recommended pricing positions.
  • Partner with Finance on forecast assumptions, revenue planning, and portfolio performance tracking.
  • Conduct post-deal analysis to improve pricing discipline, win-rate effectiveness, and return performance over time.

Do You Have:
  • Master of Business Administration or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, pricing, or similar.
  • Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience building scenario-based pricing models.
  • Ability to evaluate capital-intensive infrastructure opportunities and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across commercial, technical, and financial teams.
  • Knowledge of CRM, CPQ, pricing governance, or business intelligence tools.
  • Strong understanding of pricing principles, profitability analysis, and investment return metrics.
  • Ability to balance strategic growth objectives with disciplined commercial decision-making.
  • Strong business judgment and comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex models into concise recommendations.
