Pricing and Forecasting Specialist

Position Summary:

This remote position is responsible for our global Networking Systems price and forecasting strategies, builds revenue models, and analyzes global financial data to drive business growth. Key duties include market trend analysis, pricing model optimization, and cross-functional leadership.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, develop and analyze various strategic business management processes and perform critical business planning activities necessary to support sales, profit and growth strategies for Lightera.
• Aid with sourcing strategy by working with cross functional teams to monitor customer demand, manage product allocation and coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations
• Support 1 to 5 year revenue planning activities by coordinating regional inputs, organizing and summarizing details for executive review, and documenting final plans for submission to the CFO organization
• Work with consolidation of monthly forecasts (at required detailed level)
• Recommend price options and provide margin analysis at the customer and product level in response to RFQs, supply agreements and long-term contracts for the NWS/Premise business
• Track sales and RFQ results, report on trends and generate KPI analysis and reports for organizational shareholders
• Provide functional support and coordination to operations, logistics, customer service and sales planning organizations
• Mechanical abilities and understanding of technical product production is key to understanding quoting and pricing.
• Other duties as assigned and role requires up to 10% travel both internationally and domestically.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline with 3+ years of pricing and forecasting experience in a global organization.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral) with the ability to tell a story with data
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage a vast array of data and information
• Ability to work with various levels of management, technical, and professional teams, and individuals within a multicultural and global organization
• Solid business acumen, ability to quickly learn and understand industry, product lines, competitive and customer environments
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, including advanced skills in Excel and Power BI
• SAP proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to visualize Optical Connectivity Assemblies and Network Physical Layer Solutions.

Additional Qualifications, Certifications and/or Licenses:

Experience in the Telecom Industry and Market, Fiber Optics Industry, and/or Data Center/Hyper Scale is highly preferred
