Summary
The Manager of Predictive Maintenance & Analytics is responsible for establishing and advancing Allegiant's predictive maintenance strategy across the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 family fleets. This position leads the identification, prioritization, validation, and operational deployment of predictive use cases and oversees their development using aircraft sensor data, maintenance history, component performance, and operational events. The Manager provides leadership and direction for the Predictive Analytics function, establishes program standards and performance measures, and ensures predictive insights are integrated across Technical Operations, including Engineering, Maintenance Control, Reliability, Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain, and Line Maintenance. The position develops implementation roadmaps and business cases, measures operational and financial value, and communicates emerging fleet risks and recommended actions to Technical Operations leadership.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Education Details: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Aviation Management, or a related quantitative or technical field.
Years of Experience: Minimum seven (7) years of experience in airline maintenance, aircraft engineering, predictive maintenance, aircraft health monitoring, aviation analytics, or a related technical field, including demonstrated experience leading personnel, technical projects, or cross-functional programs.
• Experience translating aircraft, maintenance, component, and operational data into actionable maintenance or engineering decisions.
• Working knowledge of aircraft systems, airline maintenance processes, reliability programs, and continued airworthiness requirements.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, statistical modeling, machine learning, and business intelligence platforms sufficient to direct technical development and evaluate analytical results.
• Experience establishing program priorities, implementation roadmaps, performance measures, and business cases.
• Ability to evaluate predictive alert performance, operational effectiveness, maintenance findings, and realized value.
• Experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
• Ability to lead multiple complex initiatives and manage competing operational priorities.
• Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations and influence outcomes across organizational levels.
• Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Requirements
• Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Experience leading predictive maintenance or aircraft health monitoring programs in an airline, OEM, or MRO environment.
• Experience with Skywise, aircraft health monitoring systems, Palantir Foundry, TRAX, or comparable maintenance and analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 family aircraft systems.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Experience working directly with aircraft OEMs, component manufacturers, technology providers, or regulatory authorities.
• Experience integrating predictive insights into maintenance, engineering, reliability, supply chain, or operational workflows.

Job Duties
• Lead Allegiant's predictive maintenance and aircraft health monitoring strategy, roadmap, implementation priorities, and performance standards for the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 family fleets.
• Manage, develop, and establish priorities for Predictive Analytics personnel responsible for analytical applications, predictive models, data integration, alert validation, reporting, and platform support.
• Identify and prioritize predictive use cases based on operational risk, technical feasibility, data availability, fleet impact, and expected return on investment.
• Provide oversight of predictive model development, alert logic, analytical applications, troubleshooting guidance, and operational decision-support tools.
• Establish standards for data quality, predictive alert validation, documentation, model governance, access controls, and continued performance monitoring while ensuring compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, continued-airworthiness, and company requirements.
• Ensure predictive alerts and component or system degradation insights are integrated into Engineering, Maintenance Control, Reliability, Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain, and Line Maintenance workflows.
• Direct and approve the development of troubleshooting guidance, planned maintenance interventions, and operational protection strategies based on predictive findings.
• Monitor program performance using alert accuracy, maintenance findings, intervention lead time, avoided service interruptions, repeat defects, component performance, and cost savings.
• Develop business cases for predictive maintenance capabilities, technology investments, and new analytical use cases; communicate measurable value to Technical Operations leadership.
• Maintain strategic relationships with aircraft OEMs, component manufacturers, technology providers, other operators, and applicable industry working groups.
• Provide predictive risk insights and decision support across Technical Operations to inform aircraft routing, maintenance planning and execution, material positioning, component management, and operational protection decisions.
• Promote adoption of predictive tools and processes through stakeholder engagement, training oversight, executive communication, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate.
• Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.

Allegiant as a national air carrier is deemed an essential service provider during declared national and state emergencies. Team Members will be required to report to their assigned trip or work location during national and state emergencies unless prohibited by local, state or federal order.
