Full Job Description
The Practice Strategy Associate/AVP will be responsible for supporting the Practice Strategy team in helping Financial Advisors drive efficiency, effectiveness and growth. The role will provide program management across Practice Strategy initiatives and project manage strategic initiatives for various target populations in the Field. The Associate/AVP will be responsible for developing high-quality Advisor resources and agents, and delivering impactful practice management in-person and virtual programming focused on educating and equipping the Field actionable ideas and tools that drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field Program Management
    • Support management of programs that advance Practice Strategy initiatives, with responsibilities including planning, managing timelines, stakeholder coordination, speaker preparation, studio and communication partner alignment, communication development and execution support.
    • Develop high-quality and dynamic program narratives and presentation content.
    • Leverage insights from program metrics to inform future events and deepen meaningful engagement.
  • Content and Process
    • Development of comprehensive practice management content that informs and influences AI search results
    • Conceptualize, design and build AI agents and automation solutions both for the Field and for the Practice Strategy team, that streamline workflows, enhance existing tools and deliver a more efficient experience.
    • Production of Practice Strategy podcast, including content management, speaker prep and studio coordination
    • Oversee the curation, ongoing management and governance of Practice Strategy content, resources, agents and webpages.
    • Manage intake and fulfillment of ad hoc content requests from across the Practice Strategy team and other key partners.
  • Field Engagement
    • Project manage strategic initiatives for various target FA and FAA populations in the Field.
    • Support communications and outreach to Field Leaders and Advisor populations in partnership with internal stakeholders to feature in select content, events and programming.

  • Two years+ related wealth management experience preferred.
  • Understanding of Financial Advisor Practice Management themes.
  • Exemplary communication and consulting skills required.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations.
  • Program/project management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and competing deadlines.
  • Comfort working with data/metrics; organized and analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with content management processes and governance.
  • Interest and aptitude in building AI agents/automation to improve team efficiency and scale impact.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and different stakeholders.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
