Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position has administrative responsibility for designated practices yet collaborates within an integrated healthcare delivery system. Customers include, but are not limited to regional leadership, physicians, providers, practice management, and staff. External customers include patients, and their caretakers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and the community.  This Practice Manager supports 12+ providers and supervises the staff associates.

The scope of this role includes practice management of an outpatient ambulatory site. Management includes multiple specialties, clinics and providers. The clinic operations will report directly to this role, and this role will have direct supervisory and managerial functions of the clinic’s practice. This role will report to the Director of Regional Operations.

 

Additional Practice Manger responsibilities include:

  • Develops plans to identify and reach short and long-term goals and assure development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance.
  • Responsible for administration of business, financial and practice functions of the practice.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further our services within the community.
  • Build collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the management team to fulfill his/her accountabilities.
  • Serves as the liaison with each service line and joint venture within the clinic.
  • build strong relationships with physicians and associates to achieve high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.

 

As our Practice Manager II, you will hold administrative responsibility for designated outpatient ambulatory practices, supporting 12+ providers and supervising all staff associates within an integrated healthcare delivery system.

 

Every day you will develop strategic plans to achieve short and long-term goals, manage operating and capital budgets, oversee all business, financial, and practice functions, and serve as a liaison for service lines and joint ventures. You will also build collaborative relationships with physicians, regional leadership, and the community to expand services and ensure high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong administrative and financial management expertise, proven leadership skills in supervising diverse staff, a deep understanding of outpatient clinic operations across multiple specialties, and exceptional abilities in building relationships and driving strategic growth while ensuring compliance and achieving financial performance goals. This position has administrative responsibility for 35 designated practices and at least 1535 providers (includes physicians and advanced practice providers).

  • Oversees day-to-day activities of multiple practice sites within an assigned geographic area.
  • Develops, monitors, and responds to a full range of financial, service, and quality indicators in all areas of responsibility.
  • Recruits, selects, monitors, develops, coaches, and mentors staff to achieve outcomes for quality patient care.
  • Develops, recommends, and manages capital and operational budgets in support of strategic plans.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the service and facility operations and programs and initiating required changes or improvements.
Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare related field with at least two (2) years management experience

Physical Requirements Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
