Job DescriptionWhat you'll accomplish with usAs a Practice Leader, Data Governance, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
• Evolve data governance practices, ensuring alignment with organizational orientations (data quality, metadata, lifecycle, glossary, etc.)
• Act as a business data steward for the sector, ensuring alignment and communication of guidelines from the Data Governance Office, while bridging corporate directions and business realities
• Ensure the consistent integration of governance principles into processes, initiatives, and delivered solutions
• Act as a business lead on cross-functional projects, taking ownership of initiatives with a strong data component
• Structure and lead the data stewardship network and data governance communities of practice
• Act as a catalyst for other team functions by influencing practices related to data and analytical tools
What could accelerate your success in this roleWe're looking for someone who:
• Is known for their ability to navigate complex, ambiguous, and evolving environments
• Stands out for their ability to structure, prioritize, and drive high-impact initiatives
• Demonstrates strong mastery of data governance concepts (data quality, metadata, lifecycle, glossary, etc.)
• Is recognized for their influence-based leadership and ability to mobilize without direct authority
• Has 8 to 10 years of experience in a relevant data-related field (governance, analytics, transformation, etc.)
• Has hands-on experience leading data initiatives, ideally in a cross-functional context
• Has experience in framing or managing business needs (e.g., project manager, product owner, analyst, business lead, etc.)
• Has a bachelor's degree or equivalent university education in a relevant field
• Has experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra or equivalent)
