Practice Builder (Site/Civil Engineering)

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Developing and nurturing land development client relationships in the Hampton Roads area
  • Identifying new project pursuits
  • Marketing ATCS' land development offerings
  • Developing proposals for new pursuits
  • Client and project management
  • Overseeing delivery of site development projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Demonstrated history of technical expertise in residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional land development engineering
  • Professional licensure preferred
  • Existing strong relationships with private-sector builders, developers, landowners, and local agencies
  • Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to effectively oversee staff, projects, and multiple priorities
  • Expert in land development and permitting processing in jurisdictions throughout Hampton Roads; with extensive experience in site development design and management of design staff.
  • Ability to travel as needed

Our employees are the most critical part of ATCS. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $121,950 to $210,150 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual management bonus, with a target of 7.5% to 12.5% of the employee's annualized salary.
