Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Powered Support Systems Mechanic Leader, WL-5378-11, to work at the Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) with 309 MMXG at MINOT AIR FORCE BASE located in MINOT, ND. 2026 Salary Range: ($95,146-$111,007) / Yearly with locality

The primary purpose of this position is To lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full time and continuing basis. Leader is responsible to both perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensures that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.

Qualifications:

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.

- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.

- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Working knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s)

2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge of the use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and equipment common to trades and labor work

performed by the group being led.

4. Skill in performing the trade and /or labor work of the group being led.

5. Ability to lead a team of three or more labor or trade employees.

6. Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission
