Power Operations Manager | Residential Generator Operations

Liberty Service Partners is looking for an experienced Power Operations Manager to help lead and strengthen residential generator operations across multiple locations within a designated division.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role for someone who knows the generator business inside and out. You'll partner closely with General Managers and local teams to improve performance across installation, service, and maintenance operations, establish consistent best practices, strengthen safety and quality, and build teams capable of supporting continued growth.
What You'll Own
  • Power Operations Performance: Drive operational goals across generator installation, service, and maintenance, helping local teams improve productivity, capacity, efficiency, and execution.
  • Installation: Help locations improve installation capacity, cycle times, scheduling, quality, and overall field execution from sold job through completed installation.
  • Service & Maintenance: Strengthen generator service and preventative maintenance operations, including scheduling, technician productivity, maintenance agreement execution, response times, and customer experience.
  • Operational Best Practices: Establish and reinforce consistent processes across power locations while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Safety & Quality: Champion a strong safety culture and ensure teams consistently meet expectations for workmanship, compliance, quality, and customer experience.
  • Staffing & Capacity: Partner with local leadership and recruiting to identify staffing needs and ensure installation, service, and maintenance teams have the capacity to support demand and growth.
  • Training & Development: Help onboard, train, and develop operational leaders, technicians, installers, electricians, and other power team members. Share best practices across locations and raise the standard of performance throughout the division.
  • Performance Management: Monitor operational KPIs, identify gaps and opportunities, and work directly with local leaders to develop and execute improvement plans.
  • Cross-Location Support: Serve as a resource to General Managers and operational leaders, helping troubleshoot challenges and implement solutions across multiple businesses.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, training, scheduling, dispatching, material management, field execution, and overall customer experience.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of management experience within a residential power/generator operation required
  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of residential standby generators required
  • Demonstrated experience managing generator installation, service, and maintenance operations
  • Strong understanding of residential generator workflows, including installation, permitting, electrical requirements, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, scheduling, dispatching, materials, safety, and quality control
  • Proven ability to improve productivity, operational efficiency, capacity, and consistency
  • Experience hiring, training, coaching, and developing field teams and operational leaders
  • Experience managing operational KPIs and using data to identify opportunities and drive accountability
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and support teams across multiple locations
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned division

Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
