Full Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Manages power purchase and sale agreements across a range of resource and transaction types, ensuring agreements are administered in compliance with agreement terms, and other applicable regulations.
  • Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with counterparties and internal stakeholders to support contract administration and compliance.
  • Executes analyses of contractual, commercial, regulatory, and market information to inform contract management strategies and business decisions.
  • Prepares contract notices, correspondence, amendments, reports, and presentations for counterparties and internal stakeholders.
  • Converts complex contract, settlement, and market data into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports, and develops and maintains tools for tracking and analyzing contract performance and obligations.
  • Supports contract implementation strategies, including onboarding, compliance monitoring, stakeholder communication, and process improvements.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in energy contract management, energy procurement, power markets, utility operations, energy settlements, utility regulatory compliance, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience overseeing portfolios of energy contracts, including renewables, energy storage, conventional power, combined heat and power, or natural gas.
  • Understanding of power purchase and sale agreements and utility procurement and contracting practices.
  • Knowledge of wholesale energy markets, including the California ISO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to counterparties and across internal cross-functional audiences.


Additional Information
  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
