Description

Delta Point (DP) is currently seeking a Power BI Analyst to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Build and optimize data models, including star schemas, relationships, and performance-focused data structures.
  • Develop and troubleshoot DAX measures, calculations, and business logic.
  • Utilize Power Query and Power BI Dataflows to cleanse, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify key metrics, performance indicators, and reporting needs.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and system issues while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and user guidance materials.
  • Support end users by providing training, assistance, and ongoing enhancements to reporting solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve efficiency and solve business challenges.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements

The qualified candidate will possess the following experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including:
    • Data modeling, relationships, and cardinality
    • Star schema design and optimization
    • Dashboard and report development
    • Data visualization best practices
  • Creating and troubleshooting DAX measures and calculations.
  • Developing automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Presenting data insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, solve technical challenges, and support continuous learning.

Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to or experience with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology concepts and application development.
  • Experience supporting multiple business functions, departments, or cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices.
  • Experience developing enterprise reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 data sources, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI Dataflows for data transformation and integration.
