Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer to design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations across systems using PostgreSQL and Oracle. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database development, data modeling, SQL, performance tuning, and data integration to support seamless interoperability between internal and third-party healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop key modules within enterprise systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure seamless data integration and interoperability.
• Analyze functional requirements and technical specifications to develop effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support software and database applications.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Support database integrations, ETL processes, and data migration activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, data integrity, and integration issues.
• Optimize database queries and overall database performance.
• Provide accurate estimates for design and development efforts.
• Work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Prepare, maintain, and catalog technical documentation and development artifacts.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong experience with database design and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Experience with database integration and ETL processes.
• Experience supporting data migration activities.
• Professional Information Technology experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment or similar fast-paced setting.
