Full Job Description
About the Role
The Account Director serves as the senior relationship for a portfolio of enterprise technology engagements. This role builds trusted stakeholder relationships, identifies opportunities for growth, shapes technology and service strategies, and coordinates internal teams from opportunity development through delivery, renewal, and expansion.

The successful candidate will combine strategic account leadership, commercial discipline, and technology fluency. They will help clients connect business priorities with practical workplace, productivity, data, automation, and AI-enabled technology solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary relationship lead for assigned enterprise technology accounts, maintaining proactive communication, stakeholder confidence, and clear escalation paths across cross functional teams.
  • Provide leadership for the account team. While the role does not include direct people management responsibilities, it is accountable for ensuring team members understand priorities, meet internal standards, fulfill client commitments, and deliver a consistent stakeholder experience.
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans that align client business priorities, technology roadmaps, service investments, and growth opportunities.
  • Own account revenue, retention, and growth objectives, including renewals, service expansion, and new opportunities.
  • Create demand by identifying unmet business needs, service gaps, stakeholder priorities, and opportunities to expand existing technology services or launch new advisory/project work.
  • Lead product demonstrations, discovery workshops, roadmap sessions, executive briefings, innovation conversations, or lightweight pilots.
  • Guide the commercial lifecycle, including discovery, solution shaping, pricing, proposals, statements of work, amendments, and renewals.
  • Monitor account satisfaction, service quality, commercial commitments, delivery risks, and escalation needs.
  • Understanding of outsourced services, supplier/partner agreements, cybersecurity or compliance requirements, and enterprise procurement practices.

What You'll Need
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise technology account management, consulting, managed services, or related client-facing technology roles.
  • Experience selling or expanding technical services in an enterprise environment, including discovery, solution shaping, proposal development, stakeholder alignment, and internal sales coordination.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic client relationships and driving account growth, stakeholder engagement, and commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to translate technology capabilities into business value and influence executive-level conversations.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex contract processes.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting strategic Microsoft technology programs, Microsoft 365 ecosystems, or enterprise workplace technology initiatives.
  • Experience creating account plans, business reviews, proposal narratives, stakeholder-facing materials, service quality updates, or growth plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, champion, and implement AI-driven solutions that improve productivity, streamline operations, and enable technology teams to deliver greater impact at scale.
  • Experience supporting large, matrixed enterprise clients or strategic accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
