Responsibilities

  • Manage and solicit existing portfolio customers to enhance loan volume and cross-sell Bank products and services.
  • Negotiate transactions and prepare Loan Offering Analyses for renewals, modifications, and new business.
  • Manage continued delinquency control.
  • Conduct annual reviews of existing loans to evaluate credit quality and compliance with covenants, including property inspections.
  • Foster and promote customer relationships.
  • Prepare detailed Loan Offering Analyses that include property descriptions, market analyses, financial statement reviews, and project economics.
  • Assess lending risks and identify risk mitigants in Loan Offering Analyses.

Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general direction, this position's primary responsibilities include all aspects of portfolio management as relates to assigned portfolio loans together with the cross selling of Bank products and services. Additional responsibilities will include the preparation of comprehensive Loan Offering Analyses that evaluate the prospective financing properties, incorporating complex underwriting to include cash flow analysis, project economics and valuation, guarantor analysis, market analysis and recommendation. The loan analyses include both commercial loan and commercial permanent owner occupied mortgages or commercial construction and commercial permanent mortgages. This position is considered the more experienced job in the job family.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs portfolio management responsibilities including:
    • Solicits existing portfolio customers to increase and retain loan volume and cross sell Bank products and services.
    • Transaction negotiation and preparation of Loan Offering Analysis of existing loans in connection with renewals and modifications and new business transactions; facilitates closing of the transaction.
    • Performs continued Delinquency Control.
    • Prepares annual reviews of existing loans to access credit quality and covenant compliance; performs property inspections.
    • Promotes customer relations.
  • Prepares Loan Offering Analyses, which include the following:
    • Detailed property descriptions and market analysis.
    • Detailed analysis of financial statements.
    • Project economics, income and expense analysis, tenancy analysis, and property valuations and discounted cash flow models.
    • Construction budget analysis with determination of sources and uses of funds.
    • Borrower and Guarantor analysis.
    • Assess lending risks, clearly identify offsetting mitigates and summarize recommendations.
    • Complete special projects as directed by the department head.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 5 or more years related within financial industry
  • Comprehensive financial analysis experience.
  • Comprehensive loan analysis experience in respective discipline.
  • Strong verb and written communicative and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel & Argus), financial analysis programs and discounted cash flow models.
  • Strong customer services skills.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment. Noise levels usually are moderate.

  • The hazards are mainly those present in a normal office setting.

Pay Details:

$99,400 - $142,000 annually

Please note, the base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, education, geographic location, internal equity, and other applicable business and organizational needs.

This role is incentive eligible based upon company, business, and/or individual goal achievement and performance.
