Your role and impactAs a Vice President and Portfolio Analytics, Technology Product Manager in Analytics Product, you will serve as a subject matter expert in portfolio construction, optimization, and simulation analytics while owning analytics as a product. You will help develop impactful, fit-for-purpose, enterprise-grade solutions for Aladdin clients across regions and industries.
You will partner closely with colleagues across the Aladdin Client Business, Aladdin Financial Engineering, and Aladdin Product teams to evolve Aladdin's analytics capabilities. Your work will help translate client needs, market developments, and industry opportunities into scalable analytics products and solutions.

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
- Enhance BlackRock's Aladdin platform by developing AI-driven portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, total portfolio approach, optimization, and simulation analytics, models, and processes in response to market demands, industry events, credit market expansion, and regulatory change.
- Apply AI technologies to advance portfolio construction and simulation capabilities, accelerate product innovation, and deliver scalable client solutions.
- Evaluate evolving market dynamics and stakeholder needs to influence the analytics roadmap and prioritize high-impact product capabilities.
- Contribute to firmwide initiatives that advance analytics capabilities, strengthen strategic partnerships, and improve client outcomes.
- Address complex industry challenges and demonstrate Aladdin's capabilities by developing customized, fit-for-purpose solutions and analyses for targeted client and prospective-client use cases.
- Apply subject matter expertise and thought leadership to support client engagement across presale, implementation, and adoption activities.
- Provide guidance on sophisticated analytics inquiries to clients and partners across Client Business, Client Services, Analytics Production, and Product teams.
Your experienceCandidates should demonstrate an ability to solve complex, real-world problems within investment and risk management businesses. Strong quantitative expertise, product judgment, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and commercial judgment will support success in this role.
- 5-10 years of experience applying quantitative methods and advanced analytics to develop, deploy, or use financial models, with expertise in areas such as portfolio construction, optimization, economic scenario simulation, strategic asset allocation, or macroeconomic analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, ambiguous, cross-functional analytics initiatives from concept through execution while managing competing priorities, setting expectations, and delivering with attention to detail.
- Degree in engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, business management, or another quantitative field of study.
- Ability to use programming and analytical tools, such as Python, advanced Excel, or comparable tools, to support quantitative analysis and product development.
- Strong quantitative and technical capabilities, including the ability to identify complex analytics problems, design and communicate solutions, and apply artificial intelligence techniques to deliver practical, scalable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and the ability to evaluate how market events affect portfolios, analytics, and client workflows.
- Strong project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to organize workflows and explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
For NY7 - 50 Hudson Yards, New York Only the salary range for this position is USD$162,500.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
