Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Polyglot Software Developer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), React.js, .NET, REST APIs, Azure Integration Services, and modern software engineering practices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing applications while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure, React.js, .NET, and Azure Integration Services.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and high-quality application components following established coding standards and best practices.
- Build, maintain, and enhance RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Develop integration solutions using Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and related Azure services.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve software development efficiency and code quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application monitoring, and secure software development practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and architectural compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), including:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure API Management
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Event Grid
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Web APIs
- Strong expertise in React.js.
- Experience developing applications using:
- Python FastAPI and SQL Server (Onsite development)
- C#, FastAPI, and SQL Server (Offshore collaboration)
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
- Experience implementing secure application design using:
- OAuth 2.0
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
- Managed Identity
- Experience within the insurance industry.
- Experience developing cloud-native enterprise applications and distributed systems.
Certifications- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate - Preferred.
