Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work-related experience
• 5 years commercial lines underwriting experience
• 3 years leadership experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships
• Strong organizational skills
• Strategic thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and provide performance feedback to the FMUSS team
• Design and oversee an Associate Underwriting development program
• Evaluate team capabilities to allocate resources and set priorities
• Ensure alignment of individual performance with organizational objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize initiatives
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices
• Partner with offshore leadership to sustain a skilled workforce
• Establish performance metrics and conduct data analysis
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and address concerns
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members
