Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Policy and Security Cooperation (SC) Advisor at a customer site in the Washington, DC area. A successful candidate will demonstrate competency in project execution, leadership critical thinking, and relationship management, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

 

This position requires you to be at the Pentagon 3-4 days a week.

 

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the OSW Policy representative for DoW's IT system for planning and evaluating SC programs, referred to as Socium, development.
  • Represent OSW Policy DASW Security Cooperation (SC) with requirements gathering and user access requests as needed.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss requirements, implementation and sprint cycle updates.
  • Provide strategic direction and requirements as they relate to DoW Security cooperation guidance and priorities. 
  • Support communication and coordination between OSW Policy and the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) on other emergent SC policy or program issues.
Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, National security studies or related field.
  • 3 years of security cooperation experience or comparable experience supporting an OSW level organization
  • Oral and written communication skills to deal effectively with mid and high-level partner contacts, the host government, and local communities;  
  • Ability to apply government agency regulations and procedures related to controlled unclassified information and foreign disclosure to daily work requirements;  
  • Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet programs and database management;  
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances.
  • For this position, a SECRET clearance is required. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Target Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000
