Job Type: Full Time

Location: Redmond, WA

Division Manager - Pacific Northwest Infrastructure

If you are a people-first leader who thrives in an environment where your presence and energy actually change the trajectory of a team - and who is energized by the challenge of building something rather than inheriting something finished - this opportunity was designed for you.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility, high-impact Division Manager role with real authority over people, operations, and the direction of a 150-person business. The team is talented, the client relationships are strong, and leadership is actively committed to investing in what comes next. What they need now is someone who will show up, roll up their sleeves, and lead from the front.

What You'll Love About This Opportunity
  • A direct reporting line to the President of Infrastructure with genuine influence over the direction of the Pacific Northwest division
  • Lead a team of approximately 150 professionals across Washington and Oregon, with approximately 5 direct reports
  • A private office in Redmond with the expectation and freedom to be a visible, present, and engaged leader
  • A firm that is transparent about where they are - and genuinely excited about where they are going - with a leadership team that supports and invests in the people who help them get there
  • A management incentive program with different tiers of ownership and additional financial incentives beyond base compensation
  • Competitive base salary of $230,000-$285,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates well above that range
  • Comprehensive benefits including no-cost employee-only medical coverage, immediate 401(k) eligibility with company match, company-paid disability, tuition reimbursement, and more

What You'll Be Doing

As Division Manager, you will provide strategic, operational, and people leadership for a multidisciplinary infrastructure division supporting major transportation and construction programs across Washington and Oregon. Your time will be balanced across three areas - with people and operations taking clear priority, especially early on.

You will be the visible, present leader the team needs - walking the floor, visiting projects in the field, making people feel settled and secure, and building the trust that drives retention and performance. You will work closely with a new Director of Environmental Services being hired concurrently, integrating teams and creating a unified culture across the division. You will manage operations, oversee project delivery, and ensure the division is running efficiently and profitably. You will bring a business development mindset to every client interaction - not as the primary BD driver, but as a leader who understands that everyone in the organization plays a role in growth. And you will own the challenge of reducing turnover, developing people, and building a division that people want to be part of for the long term.

Field presence is expected - approximately 20-30% of your time will be spent visiting projects, clients, and offices, including occasional travel to Portland.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading a large, multidisciplinary team in an infrastructure, construction, or engineering services environment - CMT, geotechnical, CEI, QA/QC, survey, or similar disciplines preferred
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and business leadership at meaningful scale
  • Established Pacific Northwest market experience - WSDOT relationships and regional market knowledge are non-negotiable
  • A people-first leadership style - approachable, visible, and genuinely invested in the success of the team
  • BD mindset - commercially oriented and relationship-driven, even if not the primary business development lead
  • Someone who is excited by the challenge of building and growing, not just managing what already exists
  • Construction and operations background preferred over purely environmental services background

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This firm is transparent about where they are as an organization. They have grown significantly and are now focused on building a unified, people-first culture across the Pacific Northwest. This hire will play a central role in making that real - stabilizing the team, integrating the division, and helping define what the next chapter looks like in Washington and Oregon.

If you are a leader whose presence matters, whose people follow because they want to, and who is ready to take on a challenge that will test and reward everything you've built in your career - we would welcome the conversation.

Compensation: $230-$285K+ doe plus Management Incentive Program, etc.
