Job Description:

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one "clean" ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
Position Summary:

We are searching for the best talent for a Transcend: PMO Senior Manager - Data Governance & Analytics Lead. The PMO Data Governance & Analytics Lead plays a critical role as part of our PMO team and will partner with various stakeholder groups within the Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend program to strategize, plan, and deliver all aspects of Data, KPIs and Scorecards. This role is uniquely positioned to power world-class data and analytics technologies that enable end-to-end data management, operational and advanced analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the vision and strategy including new features and improvements for executive and operational KPI reports and scorecards. Identify and prioritize reports features backlog in alignment with PMO strategy.
  • Lead the identification and development of innovative and flexible analytics capabilities to provide strategic insights to our deployments to drive near real-time performance reporting and trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Deployment leads, Enterprise Architects and Technology Services to manage key capabilities e.g., High-Performance Compute, Virtual Engineering, Data Catalog, Data Virtualization, Data Fabric, Data Engineering, etc.
  • Provide technology leadership in analytics to shape and design solutions and deliver effective user-centric and intuitive analytics tools and dashboards. Drive self-service analytics models and solutions.
  • Supervises team of resources who work with the business to shape Data and Analytics requirements and deliver solutions using Agile IT sprint cycles in multiple Agile Scrum workstreams.
  • Maps out complex business processes to serve as reference for development of end-to-end solutions and advocates for business process simplification where appropriate to deliver robust and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure successful DRI engagement and completion of user acceptance testing
  • Manage reporting intake, pipeline and resource capacity allocation, ensuring visibility into workload, delivery expectations, prioritization across reporting initiatives
  • Manage cross-program data structures and allocate data ownership according to deployment leads, ensuring data integrity and alignment across the ERP transformation lifecycle
  • Manage the development and maintenance of KPIs/Reporting library and its governance frameworks, ensuring harmonized reporting metrics across deployments align with PMO standards
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree is required
  • FPX, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification is helpful
Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in large-scale ERP transformation/implementation programs, including defining and implementing Agile methodology and process improvements
  • Hands-on experience in design and delivery of KPIs and Scorecards
  • Strong analytical experience including working in complex data sets and processes
  • Leadership, collaboration, communication and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, sometimes requiring managing and leading without authority as needed. Ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines is required.
  • Demonstrated success in creative problem solving and team partnership is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills are required. Strong project management skills are required.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and data management skills are required, and knowledge of analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, Minitab, SPSS, SAS or Qlik Sense) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, embraces innovation and change with demonstrated leadership in resolving impediments.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

Preferred:
  • Experience leading/managing and developing people (direct or indirect reports)
  • Pharmaceutical Supply Chain or Commercial Operations knowledge
  • Proven knowledge with SQL is required, demonstrated ability to write and deconstruct existing code.
  • Experience with BI tools preferred i.e. Qlik Sense, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI.
Other:
  • May require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel
  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week
