Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The PLB Regional Manager will oversee and manage Area Managers and Site Supervisors for their assigned territories. The Regional Manager ensures that best practices and company policies are being implemented on project sites. RM's assist with manpower coordination and conflict resolution on an as needed basis. RM's provide direct support for all field employees, as well as maintains project budgets within their assigned territory.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Manages field leaders, Area Managers & Site Supervisors.
• Provides additional safety and production training, as needed.
• Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of direct reports.
• Manages conflict resolution.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Uses various construction management software for planning the smooth flow of work.
• Provides pre-construction support to ensure all project submittals, shop drawings, takeoffs, permits, subcontractor paysheets, and vendor accounts are established prior to project start.
• Reviews manpower requirements and issues subcontract awards to specific contractors over duration of project.
• Demonstrates firm understanding of project scope across multiple projects.
• Identifies and generates change orders, back charges, and fines as needed for submission to General contractor.
• Generates RFI's for project personnel needed for submission to General Contractor.
• Maintains current copies of approved submittal package, shop drawings, and mechanical plans on project specific shared drives.
• Reviews contractor draws submissions on a weekly basis for accuracy in conjunction with general contractor pay app submissions.
• Generates monthly project specific payment application for submission to Accounts Receivable Department for processing.
• Reviews project budgets monthly to maintain project costs and communicate feedback to field team as required.
• Ensures budget to actual orders quantities are incompliance on project-to-project basis.
• Provides coordination support with procurement manage to ensure orders are being process and delivered efficiently.
• Ensures startup checklists are being submitted in a timely manner from field teams to service department.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of Residential New Construction process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
• Associate degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required, bachelor's degree in management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
• Background in Residential New Construction.
• At least Five years of related experience in similar capacity at a construction industry along with experience in project management and development.
• Working knowledge of underground and aerial construction standards and principles including:

o OSHA regulations,

o National Electrical Code (NEC),

o Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC),

o ASHREAE /ANSI Standard 90.1

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
