Plumbing EstimatorKilgore Industries is seeking an experienced
Plumbing Estimator to lead our plumbing estimating and preconstruction efforts across commercial, industrial, healthcare, multifamily, and institutional projects throughout Texas.
This is a key leadership position responsible for developing winning estimates, mentoring estimating teams, driving strategic project pursuits, and helping shape the future growth of our organization.
What You'll Do- Lead all plumbing estimating and preconstruction activities
- Develop conceptual, negotiated, and hard-bid estimates
- Partner with operations, project management, and business development teams
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate cost projections
- Drive value engineering and risk analysis efforts
- Develop relationships with owners, general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Improve estimating processes, databases, labor units, and technology platforms
- Support revenue forecasting and strategic growth initiatives
What We're Looking For- 10+ years of plumbing estimating experience
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience
- Extensive commercial and industrial plumbing estimating expertise
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and construction practices
- Experience with estimating software such as Trimble, Accubid, FastPIPE, QuoteSoft, or similar platforms
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Design-build and conceptual estimating experience preferred
