Full Job Description
ABOUT THE TEAM

ArsenalOS is Anduril's unified production systems platform; the digital backbone for our manufacturing operations spanning PLM, MES, WMS, and supply chain systems. We're building modern, integrated solutions that enable us to scale hardware production with software velocity.

In the ArsenalOS future state, users will not experience the lifecycle as disconnected silos. A design change will propagate into the bill of materials, planning systems, work instructions, quality workflows, and supplier-facing systems with minimal lag. A production issue will immediately surface to the teams responsible for design, manufacturing, supplier performance, and sustainment. Field signals will flow upstream fast enough to influence the next build of a product, not the next quarterly review. ArsenalOS will turn the Build Chain into a continuous learning system.
ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced PLM Software Engineer with strong Teamcenter, database, and infrastructure expertise to join the ArsenalOS PLM team. You will develop mission-critical Teamcenter customizations and integrations while helping own the database and infrastructure behind the PLM platform our product and program teams depend on every day.

You will build custom ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace extensions, workflows, and enterprise integrations across CAD, ERP, MES, manufacturing, and engineering systems. You will also install, configure, tune, patch, and upgrade Teamcenter and its database, with responsibility for performance, backups and recovery, high availability, monitoring, and disaster-recovery readiness.

This role requires someone who sees application development, database administration, and platform reliability as parts of the same system. You will work directly with engineering teams to solve challenges involving product data, BOMs, change management, and configuration management, then ensure those solutions operate reliably at enterprise scale.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer who combines strong software engineering foundations with disciplined Teamcenter and database administration. You take ownership from design through production operations, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and automate recurring work using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and CI/CD.

We value technical depth, operational excellence, ownership, clean architecture, and pragmatic execution.

You should be comfortable with:
  • Teamcenter data models and workflows
  • Database administration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery
  • Teamcenter installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
  • High availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, and incident response
  • ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, and enterprise integrations
  • APIs, distributed systems, and integration patterns
  • CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and deployment practices
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Administer databases: backups, recovery, indexing, statistics, and performance tuning
  • Configure and operate Pool Manager, FSC/FCC, Dispatcher, TcServer, and volume management
  • Improve our application observability- application, database, and server health; troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Manage high availability, disaster recovery, patching, and environment refreshes
  • Work closely with PLM developers, the broader infrastructure team, and business teams during upgrades and production support
  • Build & perform load and performance-tests for the database and environment under realistic volume to validate capacity, size resources, and catch regressions before upgrades reach production
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years administering Teamcenter environments in production
  • Deep Teamcenter architecture and administration experience, including:
    • 2-tier/4-tier deployment, FMS, Pool Manager, Dispatcher, TcServer
    • Deploying BMIDE packages and administering Active Workspace
    • Volume and file management, and Deployment Center
    • Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and environment refreshes (e.g., 14.x - 2506/25.x)
  • Strong DBA fundamentals: performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, backup/recovery, security, and access management
  • Log analysis and troubleshooting across the database, application, and server tiers
  • Experience managing high availability, disaster recovery, and patching for large enterprise applications
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with AWS and containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) Teamcenter deployments
  • Multisite configuration
  • Monitoring and observability tooling - Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus
  • DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Jenkins, Ansible, or similar)
  • Experience in hyper growth startup-like environments or aerospace/defense manufacturing
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret Security clearance
