Full Job Description
You will join the team responsible for silicon wafer fabrication processes. You will work with tools and techniques involved in the manufacture of our growing family of analog semiconductor products for worldwide markets.

Diodes process engineers design, characterize, and implement the manufacturing processes required for high performance analog integrated circuits. Additionally, the process engineer is tasked with identifying process improvement opportunities and sustaining high volume production processes while collaborating in cross functional teams within the wafer FAB.

In this role you will work with colleagues from different departments, including IT, Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Device Engineering, collaborating to improve the manufacturing process flows and achieve factory goals.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and support wafer fabrication processes, focusing on process delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Develop and issue instructions and procedures that enable manufacturing to operate processes within specified limits to meet product quality requirements.
  • Improve process, procedure or operator functions through robust SPC, DOE, 8D, 6 Sigma or other structured techniques to show benefits in product efficiency and quality
  • Support the implementation of new processes and manufacturing techniques, ensuring process performance aligns with both design for manufacturability and output expectations
  • The transfer and production implementation of new processes from development to production status as robust, capable, stable and high yielding processes
  • Support all manufacturing activities and ensure that all quality, customer and safety requirements are exceeded
  • Provide technical engineering reports to management relative to project targets and goals.
  • Leading or participating in cross-functional and facility quality teams and work within group activities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects
