Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direct supervision of the Director Plant Operations and guidelines set by policy and procedure operates and maintains buildings, equipment, and systems throughout the facility.
Performs operating, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks to equipment including but not limited to: electrical distribution systems, emergency power generators, HVAC, pumping systems, electrical motors and motor control, plumbing, refrigeration, water treatment, Fire Alarm and suppression, Pneumatic\electronic control systems, energy management systems, and all other systems under the responsibility of the plant operations department.
The Manager will also be responsible for the completion of project work including new equipment installation, existing equipment relocation or modification, and minor construction and renovation work.
Works closely with the director of plant operations.
Completes all assignments and work orders assigned to them.
Insures all mechanical, shops, and parts rooms are clean and organized at all times.
Makes suggestions to the director for improvements in policies and or procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. required. Associates degree and/or technical school courses in related fields are preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: N/A
Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing and metering equipment required.
