American Construction Metals (ACM), a rapidly growing manufacturing strategic business unit of ABC Supply, is currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and logistics
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Oversee and maintain the plant's quality management system, including ISO compliance
- Hire, develop, and manage manufacturing staff (training, performance, corrective actions)
- Manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency
- Address customer and product quality issues, including corrective action processes
- Drive process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Partner with sales and branch teams on product and service-related needs
- Manage plant budget, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve operational performance and profitability
Qualifications- Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Management, or related field + 2 years of relevant experience
OR
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Management, or related field + 5 years of relevant experience
Required Experience- Full P&L responsibility for a manufacturing operation
- Turnaround or restructuring environments
- ISO compliance and certification processes
- Six Sigma or LEAN certification (Green or Black Belt)
- ERP systems (JD Edwards)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Capacity planning, inventory control, and production scheduling
