If you are a Plant Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to lead a large, multi-shift manufacturing operation while making a meaningful impact on people, performance, and culture. The Plant Manager provides overall leadership for a manufacturing facility of approximately 350 employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer focused operations. This role drives operational excellence, develops strong leadership capability, and aligns plant performance with Emerson's strategic priorities and values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Provide overall leadership for plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, materials and production scheduling, ensuring consistent achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Establish, track, and improve operational performance through the effective use of metrics and key performance indicators, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and sustain continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance plant performance.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and leading efforts toward zero incidents.
  • Develop and manage the plant operating budget, analyze financial performance, and implement actions that improve cost efficiency and operational results.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high performing leadership team across production, maintenance, quality, and support functions, creating a culture of engagement, trust, and accountability.
  • Partner with Human Resources to support workforce planning, training, succession planning, and positive employee and labor relations in non union environments.
  • Ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory expectations by leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and commercial teams to align priorities, manage capacity, and support forecasted growth.
  • Lead talent development through effective hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management, while supporting long term succession planning.
  • Lead in alignment with Emerson policies, ethical standards, and operational practices.

  • Solid financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, P&L responsibility).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to executive level leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change.
