About This Role:

Our Plant Maintenance Lead will be a key frontline leader in Crusoe's manufacturing operations, responsible for overseeing all facets of equipment and facilities maintenance and facilities projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing facility, directly impacting our ability to produce high-quality products and meet our operational goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in industrial equipment repair, regulatory compliance, and process implementation. You will be instrumental in building a proactive maintenance culture and ensuring the safety and productivity of our team.

What You'll Be Working On:
  • Facilities and Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and facilities issues using a variety of hand and power tools, multimeters, and other electrical and mechanical instruments.
  • Preventive Maintenance System: Help develop and lead implementation of a comprehensive preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory codes, including OSHA, while maintaining all necessary ISO documentation. You will actively work to identify and address unsafe situations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Documentation and Project Management: Maintain a detailed maintenance schedule and capture all performed and scheduled maintenance. You will also effectively manage projects with regard to time, safety, and resources.
  • Team Collaboration and Training: Train personnel on maintenance procedures and work cooperatively with production teams to ensure continuous operation and minimize machine downtime. You will also manage vendor interactions and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience, with expertise in industrial maintenance equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to read electrical schematics and manuals, perform electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter, and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, with a talent for detecting equipment problems and communicating them effectively.
  • Physical Requirements: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, or carry objects, and use proper lifting techniques. You must also be able to work in a safe manner and take appropriate action to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $40-44/hr + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
