Position Summary
The Plant Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering, maintenance, reliability, utilities, and continuous improvement activities required to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations. This position provides technical leadership for plant equipment, manufacturing processes, infrastructure, automation, reliability improvement, preventive and predictive maintenance, capital projects, and production performance. The Plant Engineer partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, and Finance to eliminate chronic losses and improve safety, uptime, run rate, yield, quality, and overall equipment effectiveness.
The successful candidate will establish a proactive engineering and reliability culture that moves the facility from reactive problem solving toward planned maintenance, predictive maintenance, root-cause elimination, standardized work, and sustained process capability.

Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering, plant engineering, maintenance/reliability, or related experience.
• Experience in an extrusion, continuous manufacturing or high-speed production environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience improving equipment reliability and manufacturing performance.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $81,900-$141,335

The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs. Sealed Air offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits designed to promote well-being.
