  • Drive process improvement and enhance productivity across operations
  • Lead safety initiatives promoting hazard identification and effective risk assessment
  • Support maintenance activities and provide on-call assistance 24/7
  • Assist with the safe startup and shutdown of the ASU
  • Implement predictive maintenance programs to preemptively address equipment issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
  • Lead incident investigations and oversee project management efforts

Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Manage business risks and production facility activities tosupport the safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operation.
Essential Functions
Process improvement and productivity.
Strong safety leadership driving a culture of proactive hazard identification, persistent risk assessment, Interdependent behavior, and effective corrective action.
Plant Maintenance support.
On-Call 24/7
Operational efficiency.
Assisting with startups and shutdowns of the ASU in a safe and efficient manner as dictated by operating conditions and business needs.
Predictive indicator programs to identify equipment problems and/or improvement opportunities and take preventive actions to resolve.
Local work instructions, engineering documentation, and OEM documentation to assure they are complete, accurate and current.
Compliance with internal Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality programs, and applicable external regulatory codes and standards from organizations such as OSHA, FDA, ISO, EPA, DHS, DOL, etc.
Business Continuity, Emergency Response and Loss Prevention programs.
Performance and continuous improvement in safety, human resource, supply chain reliability, product quality control, corporate compliance, regulatory compliance, and production efficiency cost.
Local Quality Management System and Management Reviews.
Project Management
Incident root cause investigations, Audits, and completion of their associated corrective and preventive actions in an effective and timely manner.
Small improvement projects (SIP) and The Right Way (TRW) optimization projects.
Other responsibilities and departmental projects as assigned.
Daily attendance is an essential function.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
REQUIRED - Associate's Degree in an industrial field
PREFERRED -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with preference for Reliability Maintenance,
Industrial,Chemical or Mechanical disciplines.

Work Experience

Working Condition:
Typical hours will vary to meet the supply chain needs forthis 24/7 production operation; however, normal staffing hours are expected tobe from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional work hours may includenights, weekends and/or holidays with on-call responsibilities.
This role will be performed in office environments as wellas in industrial field environments.
While performing duties of this job it would occasionally berequired to:
• Be exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme cold(e.g. operating plant).
• Be exposed to outside weather conditions (e.g. cold boxvalves, filling trailers).
• Be exposed to high, precarious places (e.g. cold box,repair work)
• Be exposed to high noise levels (e.g. Plant rounds,maintenance)
Must have a clean driving record and pass background checkand drug test.
