ABOUT THE ROLE

The Plant Engineer works closely with the VP of Engineering and the Plant Manager to provide technical expertise for the development, design, and execution of capital, expenses, and maintenance projects in a safe, profitable, timely, and efficient manner.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Develops, designs, performs cost estimation and justification, and prepares the business case for capital and expense projects per process design.
  • Schedules and executes equipment and machinery inspections.
  • Works closely with plant production management staff on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains work procedures and processes supporting company and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

Required Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant

Travel Requirements: N/A

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
