Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Affairs & QA/QC Part Leader to lead regulatory compliance and product quality initiatives across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin American markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international food regulations, food labeling, import/export compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to effectively guide junior team members while engaging with major retail customers and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regulatory interpretation and compliance strategy for food products across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Latin American countries, ensuring alignment with evolving international regulations.
- Oversee and approve product labeling to ensure full compliance with country-specific regulatory requirements while maintaining brand identity and marketing consistency.
- Coordinate with external expert groups on regulatory risk assessments, labeling compliance, and legal strategy
- Proactively monito regulatory changes and access potential business impact; translate key updates into actionable guidance for internal teams.
- Serve as a regulatory and lead in cross-functional teams, collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Sales to drive successful product launches and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison with food safety and quality assurance teams at major mainstream and ethnic partners/channels to ensure compliance and address product-related inquiries
- Manage regulatory documentation for product, manufacturer, and warehouse registrations.
- Oversee food safety system compliance, including FSVP, GFSI-aligned programs, and relevant country-specific import/export requirements.
- Ensure timely maintenance of all import permits, product registrations, and export certificates coordinating with authorities and customs brokers.
- Provide strategic oversight on HS code classifications, customs documentation, and collaboration with SCM for logistics operations.
- Analyze customer VOCs to support quality improvement and cross-functional communication
- Demonstrate strong data management and reporting skills. And lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, project oversight, and professional development support.
Requirements:
- At least 9 years of work experience with food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or manufacturing field preferred.
- Knowledge of the regulations of FDA/USDA and custom matter.
- Basic understanding of GMP and food production fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills.

- Computer literacy (Excel, Word etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Korean- preferred)
The base salary for this position is between $90,000.00 and $115,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
